The Project MC-WAP aims at the application of Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC) technology on-board large ships, as Ro-Pax, Ro-Ro and Cruise, and fast vessels for auxiliary power generation purposes.

MC-WAP has been approved for funding within the 6th Framework Programme (FP6) and finished its activities 31st August 2011.
